What stuns me is not only does it read the code out, poorly at times, but it only randomly makes a lame attempt to display the code, which it seems to do by creating a phonetic transcription of what is being said.
I’m sure it will get better and, yes, it’s experimental. But I bet you the demos they give are flawless, whereas literally the first thing I tried with it was a complete failure…
Of course, all of AI is not a failure. You might not have thought of this, but as of the publish date of this article (2025-01-03), it is six weeks until Valentine’s Day. Since I’m going to be asked what I want, and my answer is usually an inadequate “I don’t know”, I asked ChatGPT to help an AI developer out:
