At first, I think I worried that we were going to see an Uber-like process of raising the price of LLMs after a while, but with Meta making its LLMs open-source(-ish), it means that nobody really has pricing power any more: LLM prices will be close to actual cost of hosting them. That removes a lot of risk in committing a business to using LLMs to solve problems, even cheap ones.
